The ratings have always been unreliable at best - especially when people who didn't even own the cards were able to vote.

As for the new cards being rated low, I'm certain it's due to the advent calendar, the fact that only a very limited set of customers can actually vote on these cards, and the fact that many people are unhappy with the fact that they got these cards as part of a 'mystery box' kind of promotion.

IMO it's childish to rate models out of spite, but I am not bothered by that. There are more important things out there in the world to devote your attenton to.

Since it's a Special Event Card (SEC) and the special event already ocured, the only way to get those SECs is to wait for another Special Event and Try to get a Joker Card, which you can exchange for any card from the store...

So you gotta stay tuned for the Friday Offers, speccial events and get a Joker card to exchange for that Jia Lissa card.

I have to say that this is more than annoying. So you miss the special Event and then there is no way to get the card of one of your favorites other than try to be at another special even and get a Joker Card. I understand that you want to drum up interest around the special events. But this new way of having cards means I now cannot get two performances from two of my favorites, when I have all their other cards.

I was looking forward to seeing Isabella's cards, but according to the reviews I've seen, I don't buy cards for the artistry and modesty. This reminds me of the models Totem offered several years ago where the models were extraordinarily beautiful, but didn't show anything between the legs and were quite subdued. What a waste of a beautiful model. Oh well -- more credits saved.

Is this from people just giving stars and NOT commenting?

I find it hard to believe...

BUT I can only count 37 comments with a Star Rating. One doesn't have a Star rating, another is 4.5 stars and one is 2 Stars...

I don't know how the rating works but the number of votes ain't equal to the number of comments, and the total number of stars...

Kinda get's me thrown off when looking at cards, or shows...

Ratings and comments are useful in picking out really broken cards or cards that are better are worse than the others in a set. Some girls always get high ratings...but the highest rated of a set is generally the best overall if there are hundreds of ratings. The lowest rated of the set will often be more boring. For example a girl like Tania R is always rated highly because she is pretty, well proportioned, tattoo free, a good dancer and doesn't do anything "gross", but isn't a prude either. Her highest rated card is the best , and her lowest rated card tends to be a little more boring or subdued. Compare girls to themselves..not other girls.

I have to agree. Freedom is all about "choices". As a "liberal" in terms of "liberty", I opt for more choices.

If this program ever had Trans, I would be a potential customer, they would have to look like Blaire White. Say what you will, she is hot! :P

As to how to manage that, would be a tab that could be enabled in the options, so people, not "into" that, can have the "freedom" to not browse through them.

Seperate ratings for performance, outfit, audio, ect and then agregating them in a total but you can still see and rank the cards by the individual scores if you want to dive in may be a better system and would minimise the "crap audio .. 0 stars" effect. It would also let the team know areas that need improvement.

BTW guys for the raw egg yolks drinkers... never tell me again that you do not like game of chance... salmonella guys... even ultra fresh risk is never 0, never.

Colors and tastes... whatever the algorithm used, at last I do not see how to make absolute something that is relative to each individual. We also could imagine to be able to sort cards from most to least downloaded/purchased (only counting volonteer purchase not the one done via random games)...? But again 99% of the users could buy a card and you could dislike it anyway.

Have you ever been recommended a restaurant by one of your best friend ever... and finally being disappointed? I am sure you do.

One way of improving the rating system would be for iStripper to calculate custom ratings for each card to each user by averaging input only from people who have rated other cards similar to how that user did. If I were trying to determine whether I'll like Star Wars episode 9, it would make sense for me gather input primarily from those who shared my feelings about episodes 7 and 8. Likewise, if I wanted to determine whether I'll like any given iStripper card, it would make sense for me to average input only from those who have rated other cards like I have and ignore input from those who have clearly different tastes.

Unfortuntely, although this is technically possible, Totem has a limited staff and there are probably other new features with higher priority. Until a customized ratings are implemented, I encourage iStripper users to provide at least a few words explaining their rating when providing feedback on each card. My thanks to all those who have done so in the past. Reading through those comments has helped me choose good cards and often avoid disappointment.

A Question came up today that was the first time I think I've been asked it.

many of us, know that we can make a Custom Card Image.

but I was asked about the Full PNG that is used on the Carousel.

The answer is Yes, you can make your own custom Full.png images to use.

the word _custom is added last to the file name.

Oh, yes... You have to Quit IS and restart it to see the changes.

But yeah, I like when reviews actually help me to decide wther or not to pick up a acard, but when there's comments like: "Not my thing, 0 stars" or "Game the System, 0 stars" I think that's not fair to the card or useful to anyone...

But when they go into detail and tell how many clips there are, desription of show, and compare it with other cards, I think those reviews are the ones that actually help me decide...
I also have cards that are in my top 10 and I can't figure out why they're so low rated...

I do watch the previews, but sometimes on the comments there will be something written/said that will make me instantly buy it or pass it... Or see it for myself 😜

It is really idiotic.

And since a significant portion of the clientele has thus proven to be idiots, I recommend the entire star system should get rid of. People should be able to give verbose reviews of shows as usual, but these star points... even though they don't play any part in my or many others' purchasing behavior, it should be gone.

In previous years cards have been awarded very low ratings simply because they were part of the advent calendar.

Today it happened again with Eva Ginger/Not So Much Shy.
Around 10:00 MET the card became available for the non-calender customers. There had been 60 votes and the average rate was 3.00 stars, which is extremely low.
Was the show not good? I don't know, but I have her two previous cards and those shows are well enough.

So the rating system tells us something of the taste of the calender-buyers and not of the model/show.

The Credits Displayed in the top boarder are updated in real time,
but the Credit Box in the Slot machine does seem to Not get Updated with every spin..

Special event cards are essentially a sales gimmick.

Some of them are initially offered as a free reward for participating some a special event like the current Advent Calendar. If you buy the Advent Calendar you get 28 cards at a reduced price and a new special event card for "free".

Some special event cards are initially released as part of a gambling game. If you play the game long enough you can "win" the card, but the cost may be may be more than 10X the cost of a regular card.

Some gambling games also offer you the chance to win special event cards that were released earlier. I once "won" three special event cards by playing a gambling game over and over. I think I spent about $50 to "win" those three cards. Looking back I think I made a mistake.

Recently Totem released a new twist on the gambling games. It's the Joker card. If you win a Joker card you can cash it in in exchange for any other card, but given the cost to win a Joker, it makes sense to use them to "buy" a special event card.

Totem has indicated that they make create new ways to win either Jokers or Special Event Cards.

I had asked members if I should buy a new computer or just anew external hard drive. The consensus was that my hardware still holds up, so I bought the new 8 Tb hard drive....which should hold al my Istripper purchases for another 11 years. :)

Gee, my computer is indeed old. This explains why members tried to help and could not understand why I could not get the path changed. I think I started with windows 8, but I did buy the best hardware available at the time. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10 now, but I guess some legacy features remain.
