I think the positive thing we can take away from this is that iStripper and the company want to keep up with current trends and stay relevant which is good for us (the consumer). Im pretty sure they dont trade publicly (stock) unless it's by the owner, so other than this, VRParadise and their other platforms they need to innovate to stay competitive.

I like that they are thinking toward the future with blockchain and NFT's but for me personally, it's not ever going to catch on. I cant be bothered bidding against other people for a 1 of 1 of something I dont physically own. Id much rather have something to the idea of what I mentioned previously. I can have it digitally or physically in this case if I choose to do so, and either way, iStripper gets the money from the purchase.

It isn't about having enough money. Many people have enough money to buy every card in the collection, but I don't like to buy cards they don't enjoy or want to watch. I want to buy every card and enjoy every card but totem doesn't offer greater performers and beauty on every card and they are offering non-service items like special event and gambling which I find a distraction from the product I want to enjoy. It is like going to a soccer game and playing slot machines as a distraction from the team losing on the field. Focus on the product first. Rich people spending mindlessly will certainly ruin the overall product in the long run. Discerning buyers who demand certain quality of product...ie..good performances, high quality, and beautiful woman from all corners of the earth.

• If the stills from the Classic collection were done on an analogue camera, would you buy a hi-res scan, or a set of scans? Not necessarily very expensive. Kyla Cole lifesize! And, for @pickle, a poster version.
• Limited edition vids of current girls in, say, 8k? Maybe they just sell 100 and you'd get a badge next to your avatar! And when you're bored with it, sell it on Ebay.
• For the wealthier iStripper fan, personalised videos (Hi, this is Eve and I'm doing this show just for you, [insert name here]).
• Specially commissioned playlists, playable irrespective of whether or not you already own all the shows.

I know there must be more possibilities and any of the above could be done as traditional propositions, but more specific products might make NFT look more attractive.

I like any promotion where I can preview the cards I'm getting before I pay my credits. I probably spend the most on the redraw packs because I can redraw until I get 10 cards I want. I am spending less and less on games where I get random cards, but I will play any game where I can see what I'm getting.

Playboy just announced they're going in to the NFT market this week and already announced their first partnership. Stock short squeezed from ~22$/s to about 33.50$/s this week. It's back down to mid 20's but its target price is set at 35$ a share long term. There is a lot to potentially invest in, whether it be the stock, crypto or actual NFT's surrounding a well established company.

I for one, as I mentioned above, would much rather have something physical like a trading card but I would not be opposed to how Upper Deck does theirs with the ability to opt in for a physical card by paying shipping with having it mostly as a digital locker.

I thought the NFT bandwagon already got blown up.

I don't think I would be indulging.

You see - I'm still of the mindset that I prefer my music on CD's not on downloads; I don't store anything in the "cloud" (well - knowingly!). I like to be able to physically touch what I own which includes the outfits I have bought from Totem.

About the one exception to this "desire for physicality" is of course my iStripper collection - but even with that I have multiple back-up copies on hard-drives and I trust Totem not to torpedo those collections.

But Bitcoins and NFTs - all a bit too ethereal and volatile for me.

I find the desire to "own" digital materials incomprehensible, but there are many serious "collectors" of iStripper cards who might be quite keen to own a complete, authenticated collection of iStripper memorabilia. I don't know if they would want this to include unique digital content or an Achievement or a badge or something, but it would certainly sweeten the deal. Plus, NFTs can be traded.

Personally, I'm strongly against NFTs and blockchain on environmental grounds. It is also disruptive to financial and fiscal systems and facilitates crime. Money is a fragile myth, but one which makes modern society work, so fiddling with the concept invites disaster (though bankers' drafts worked, credit cards worked and we got rid of the gold standard without the financial systems imploding, so disaster isn't inevitable).

Overall, an NFT package might work, but not for me.

I'm in the same boat.

I'm an avid trading card collector. I collect Baseball, Football, Hockey, TCG (Trading Card Games) and have branched out in to more adult cards such as Benchwarmers and Playboy. I would much rather have something physical in my hand, such as a "Swatch" card (cards that have an embedded piece of gameworn fabric, like a jersey, or a model's underwear (Yes. that's a real thing.) with their picture on it) or "Auto" (autograph card with the model's name and picture). These can be combined with limited number of things such as "Parallels" (different, limited borders or holographs for the same card or model limited to like 1 of 1, 1 of 10, 1 of 25, ect) or even the printing plate which would be a 1 of 1.

I have examples of all of these which I would be more than happy to share if it didnt ***** the rules and TOS but you can read up on them pretty easily through their websites.

I like the way payments are working now. I can't see how my life would be better with this new technology. The only technological improvements I want to see with iStripper involves the actual content provided.

I worry about the environmental impact of NFT for things that are 1s and 0s that have been duplicated 1000s of times already likely anyways. Even Beeple dedicated to going net carbon neutral on all future works.

At the same time I also feel this is somewhat a fad that will also stick around in a smaller capacity.

Right now NFT is basically a new version of Supreme where people spend a bunch of money to show they can spend a bunch of money.

Its not like a work of art since Monet physically touched and put brush strokes to the canvans. What an NFT is essentially is doing is basically putting your name on the reproduction of that artwork since NFT is just that 1s and 0s sent and duplicated to another hard drive.

Honestly I think it would be more unique to get a copy of the original code, the original photo/video shoot files, or soemthing.

Also would all rights and control be moved to the NFT owner so they could remove, change pricing, or move to another platform the work of art?

I think it eventually will take a benefit to all: if there is a strong autentication on, and so there can not be any doubts about the person who made a transaction, there will therefore be no need anymore for a bank to flag a transaction as suspicious and/or block it.
During the process of implementation and stabilization of such a new tecnology, though, there could temporarily be even more issues for the customers...
