then on the Next List, when you Insert a saved playlist, if it has clips saved, display the Clip Number and duration.

Here is an Advanced Option I'd like to see as well:
If you ***** a Card to the Playlist.
provide a Right Click Option to Expand / Explode the card into a list of all of it's clips, so you could then remove unwanted clips from the play list.
( if you have UnChecked Clips in the card, these would NOT be part of the expanded list. )
an Expanded / Exploded card could NOT be Compressed back to just a card, Once Expanded, it is then just it's list of clips.
So it's a ONE way option. Once expanded to the list of clips, you can't undo it.

Of course you could delete the clips from the playlist, and then just Add the card and leave it as a Card

That's an expensive option to add. We'll stick to display clip number and duration to start :)

Totem knows the logistics involved now, so if there is another studio down the road... they will be prepared :)

Yes @Rex, Displaying clip number and duration in Next list would help a lot, because these days I'm less inclined to create long clip playlists.
I am more inclinded to simply ***** either whole cards into Next or ***** clips from iS clip manager (less preferred) into Next.
Excluding known clips from Next list ( without excluding other clips on the card ) once Next is set up each time, seems way more dynamic for casual or regular use. Memory of what is on a clip can become a problem...so...
I'm also using History list a lot more now to locate cards for special attention immediately after I have seen them in fullscreen.
Having clip # number / duration history as well would allow further refinement of viewing habits or matching clips to music.

The new capabilities you described sound useful to me.

If a Dxxxx series card is in the preview, it will not be displayed.
I am aware that there are no full images for the Dxxxx series. For these cards, a placeholder would be a good idea.

I have 2647 cards and in 3K it use1,6 TB in 720 it use1,2 TB so my advice is put the models at least on a 2 TB disc

About Playing the entire routine of a girl, we already added Play button on card should override show duration and play all clips of a card to our todo list for next version.

About Whishlists, we're thinking of adding options (when approaching mouse pointer) to choose between "don't like", 1 to 3 hearts when clicking on Whishlist. Wishlist filters will become All, "don't like", no hearths, 1, 2 3. Choosing "don't like" for a card would make sure she'll never be picked up again in pushed previews.

About Previews, the download preview button could include the number of time the preview has been downloaded. It would be just "Preview" if it has never been downloaded before, and then "Preview (1)" to let you know you already considered this card once before.

We're also adding a delete button in the pushed preview. It would automatically tick the "don't like" on the card.

Agree with you, that there are not enogh visual information, to make a qualified descission on weather or not to buy a given card.
I have it with reviews, kind of like with moovie and book reviews - you don't know the preferances of whoever writes the review. So it is not really usefull info - unless you read so many written by the same person, that you are able to comape his/her preferances to your own (and I can't remeber names, so I rarely base my descissions on reviews).
I've bought cards that others were all enthusiastic about and regretted it - and vice versa.

This is a good initiative.
Not all buy cards as they com out, and not all can figure out how to find the release date for a given card.

As I was asked to move my original querry to this thread, I am also copying @The Emu's response here ...

Unfortunately many of the fragment shaders calculate their output (pixel colour) in a way that ignores any color: and opacity: that may have been specified in the .scn file and this is why your opacity: clause has no effect. There are two ways to fix the problem.

Method 1 - Render the affected part of the scene in a framebuffer and then render that framebuffer in the scene using a sprite. The shader is used in the framebuffer and the color: and opacity: clauses in the sprite.

Method 2 - Fix the shader. All fragment shaders should at some point assign a colour to the GLSL variable gl_FragColor. This is usualy the last line of the shader, for example the refraction.fsh shader used in the bikini scene ends with

gl_FragColor = vec4(texColor.rgb , texColor.a );

but no matter where the assignment is done you can modify its effect either by modifying the line itself or by adding a statement that gets executed later that changes the value of gl_FragColor. You could just modify it to suit the needs of a particular scene, but that can rapidly lead to a having a lot of almost identical scene specific versions of a shader. It is better to be more general and add the line

gl_FragColor = gl_FragColor * gl_Color;

or equivalently the line

gl_FragColor *= gl_Color;

where gl_Color is a standard GLSL shader input that is set by iStripper to reflect the color: and opacity: clauses (defaulting to opaque white). It is most convenient to add this line either immediately after any existing assignment to gl_FragColor or as the last line of the shader's main routine - these are often the same place.

I recommend using method 2, its easier and makes the shader more generally useful.

P.S. In the case of the refraction shader it would be slightly better to replace the existing assignment to gl_FragColor with

gl_FragColor = texColor * gl_Color;

LATE EDIT: I originaly had a superfluous asterisk in the first suggested change to the shader, this is now corrected.
Also there is another work round that may be used, this being to modify the image to be more transparent, but this means that you begin to accumulate multiple slightly different versions of the image. It is better to use the more general solution I outlined above.

I have been trying to use shaders without any real understanding of the subject, so please be kind!
I have been using the technique in the Bikini fullscreen from Totem to ripple some water.
It works OK for the water sprite.
However, I want to put a dancer behind the water and see her reflection in the water also rippled by the shaders.
Again, it works OK, but then I thought the reflection was too powerful - it didn't take into account light absorbsion or scattering -
so I tried to reduce the opacity. This did not work.
Can anyone tell me why, or what I need to do?

If you've been using Enable/Disable from the context menue, that might be why. You can show disabled cards using the provided filters at the top of the window by going to "Activation" and selecting the appropriate filter.

Filters color coded red are modified filters, ie; it could show cards from 2010-2013 only, etc.
