I read this and think that this is now the end of the iStripperXXX cards and now all the cards are going to be the tamer (much) iStripper shows with one or two clips of a finger slipping in for a blink of an eye and calling that clip XXX as is happening now. At lease for now we are still getting some iStripperXXX cards even if they are of the same girl over and over and over again.

I see . I had the Advanced setting at Startup checked of Istripper checked.
But I realize that In Windows startup (as shown in msconfig.exe that in Windows 10 sends you to the Task manager, Startup) I had disabled Desktopware / Istripper
Maybe that's the reason why I had that problem.

So, if I am right, I must decide if I continue without starting Istripper when I turn on the omputer or if prefer let the GUI be quiet , not appearing suddenly when I Start Istripper

Technically No..
putting the check mark in that box also set a registry value.
So you Need to have it Checked.

But You Can, go to your Windows profile and in the Startup folder, remove the vghd.exe entry.
( or using task manager, disable it on the startup tab )

Then, Like I have done.
Browse to the BIN folder and create a Desktop Short cut to the Vghd.exe file.

Now you can edit the properties of that Short cut, and add the -fromStartup to the end of the target.

so you end up with this:
The proper registry value is set, you've blocked it from starting when you start windows, And you have a desk top Icon that will start iStripper, WithOut Opening the GUI.

I have tested it on my windows 10 OS, and It works just as I describe it.

I agree, back to the old days where nearly every card produced was a purchase. I look through the girls store and most of the 3K cards I have not bought are from the USA studio and in the last month I have been buying maybe 2 of the weekly cards. Ok.

No.1: Appears that you own at least one card of a removed from sale model. Probably Alizee and or Priscilia Jones. Alizee's cards can still be downloaded if you already purchased them. Priscilia's, unfortunately not. Time to ask CS for a refund if you can't play the clips any more.

No.2: Make sure you have Advanced settings checked in the Settings area. Scroll down to Clips and check the Previw Push to never. That will stop any more ***** demo pushes.

Totem are already on the case for this one. To stop demos from playing, you can right click a playing clip and when the wheel menu opens, you can click on the checkmark to disable a demo. You may have to click it twice.

If you don't see this checkmark in the wheel menu, then you need to activate it in the Controls~ Contextual Menu part. In this menu, it's the last bit... Enable/Disable.

If I understand your next bit correctly, NO this part of the software will not be available forever but I hope the SOFTWARE will be available forever :)

No.3: As far as I know, no, you can't disable those functions as yet, only change them. Again, I'm guessing that it's interfering with other programs you have running at the same time as iStripper.

Might be good to let us, and more importantly, the Team know why this is a problem for you? The way I use the software doesn't affect me so much as I mainly use Fullscreen mode to view my cards and I've learned how to control most of this stuff over the last few years :)

how do i stop previews from playing, i have cards installed but previews for cards i don't own keep playing.

will this application be available forever?

i'm not able to disable left and right click so they don't do anything if i accidentally click the model.

if you do not have the Run iStripper at Start checked, then the -fromStartup will cause iStripper to exit as soon as it is loaded.
In older versions the option was called Start at Bootup, now it is Run iStripper at Start.

I do have a Windows 10 machine. I will install and test. this to make sure, and let you know.

It was my not having, the advance Setting Checked, that caused the application to exit without starting.
So you must have that Setting Checked, before you add the -fromStartup to the shortcut.

EDIT:I did exactly as you said but the solution did not work for me
Windows 10 said that there was a problem with VGHD, so I deleted -fromStartup, closed Istripper and tried again. I didn´t work
I turned off completely the computer and after a while everything was running as before of my trial changes.
I don´t Know if it is a problem of Windows 10 itself or it is specific of my Windows 10.
I thought that you would Know this for future cases

I think he was serious. Russia and Ukraine are probably two countries where you can get girls relatively cheap, thereby bringing in a bigger profit. Purely a business decision. I understand that. I would have suggested getting girls from the Czech Republic because it seems they have some really high quality girls there (or used to, anyway) but it's probably more expensive because of that. I would have also suggested Sweden, as that country is in the process of destroying itself and girls may want to find a way out. All that being said, it may just be because Russia and Ukraine have more girls available to hire.

and -from startup did not work, but -fromStartup did..

Also, I had Browsed to the BIN folder, and right clicked on the vghd.exe, send shortcut to desktop.
That is the shortcut I edited the properties for.

Been going through my collection lately and there are a ton of great girls from Budapest. Is Hungary still an option? Are there problems with work visas and such. You are missing two settings..
Run iStripper at Startup Needs to be Checked.

and the Shortcut you use needs this added to it..
-from startup
you will have to find the short cut, then right click to check it's properties.
under the Target, add the -from startup to the end of it.

Explanation:

the -from startup, tells iStripper NOT to display the GUI when it starts, only display the icon in the system tray.
the Start Deactivated, tells iStripper to Not turn ON the Models when starting.

If you Don't have Run iStripper at Startup Checked, you Might Not get the System tray Icon to display.
then you have iStripper running, but No Icon.

so to Use the -from startup in the Target command line.

It seems a bug.
When you load initially IStripper the GUI appears always on full screen, no matter what you do to avoid it.
I went to settings and under the big Title referred to Blocking at work ( where you find the ALT-SPACE sudden deactivation of Istripper), a checkbox saying "Start deactivated" is shown ( In my case "Inicio desactivado" in Spanish language). So if you check that option, when you start IStripper it should reamain deactivated showing the grey icon at bottom bar of Windows.

This checkbox does not work. Please repair it

Maybe the team should think about, recruiting from thailand. many nice girls work out of the go go bars and spend there time dancing around poles etc, many girls work for themselves and so you could negociate directly with them. Depends on the girl, for some of them what you say is true of course. But I've seen camgirls that start their own websites and create content for them. Those girls are obviously interested in doing other stuff than camming and may be waiting for a chance to do it. A trip to Paris and a contract with a company like iStripper could be just what they are waiting for. Scoreland started working with some camgirls a few years ago and it's worked out well for them. If I had to guess what's the biggest problem for camgirls accepting an offer is that they might be afraid it's not legit.
