Why are the cards not delisted from the market before their rarity is revelead? I just lost Epic card because it was not delisted from the market. I would never sold it otherwise.

To dolz.io team: It would be better to delist the cards from marketplace before they are revealed, because the UI on dolz.io page is not very responsive when the cards are revealing and while some people can see the card rarity, others will see nothing, so it can be unfair to the users to sold cards for which only some people can see their rarity.

Also, as happened to me, user can forget or be unable to (e.g. for technical reasons) to delist the card before the reveal and it is sold before he even knows which rarity it was. I think all listings of unrevealed cards should be cancelled before the rarity is revelead, so everyone can see what rarity his card is, before he will try to sell it again after the reveal.

You Listed it Pre-Reveal right? So then you intended to Sell it, you wanted to sell it.
What if it had Sold prior to the Reveal?
Sold before reveal, you got your asking price. Good Sale Yes?

it is a Sellers responsibility.

I am not saying it is dolz team issue. I am saying it can happen to anyone else, but it can be easily avoided by delisting the cards automatically from the store when their rarity is revelead, as their price can change drastically after the reveal and it can be exploited by bots or users which see their rarity before other users and are buying cards drastically under price without the risk of not knowing what the card rarity is.

I was extremely unlucky this time, because I sold 2 epic cards for the price of limited ones. But frankly I was just expecting the cards not sold before the reveal will be delisted automatically when their status is changed. That was naive from me, I know that now.

I learned the lesson the hard way. But it could be easily avoided when the cards would be delisted automatically when their status is changed and no one can say in the future that he listed a card for sale not knowing what rarity the card is.

This was a very bad experience for me, but it can happen to anyone else, while it can be easily avoided by the system, which I would be grateful for, as I wouldn't need to pay so much attention in my work time for the cards I listed on the store, knowing that they will be delisted if not sold while their status was not revealed.

I am not asking for some advantage for myself, but for a way to help people easily avoid such mistakes in the future, which should be beneficial for everyone in the long run.

Another thing is, that when the card rarities are revelead all at once, the UI of the dolz.io page is totally stucked and the user can see the rarity only of some cards and do not see the rarity of other cards, which I assume is working differently for every user and it is totally unfair when some users can see the rarity of the cards and others don't.

There should be some pause before all the cards are revealed for all users before they are listed again on the market, which is another reason why delisting the cards from the store before their reveal would be beneficial to everyone.

I'm the buyer of one of those unlisted epics.

As I've answered in the DM, I've been trying to hunt for good cards at reveal time for a year already. This is the first time it's worked for me (I got an extra Rare + Epic).

That said, I also think the most fair option would be to delist all cards just before the reveal.

This is pretty normal behaviour on larger NFT markets as well (OpenSea, Blur, Magic Eden). Listings remain valid until the seller cancels them or they expire — reveal events don’t automatically invalidate orders. It’s no different to leaving a limit order to sell your NVIDIA shares in the market on results day.

The lag around reveal is also fairly standard. Part of it is the reveal process assigning final metadata, and part is marketplaces ingesting and updating that metadata under heavy load. Different users seeing updates at slightly different times is unfortunately just how distributed systems behave.

Dolz already gives sellers tools to manage reveal risk via short expiries (e.g. 1-day listings) or by delisting before reveal. Auto-delisting would be a significant departure from normal market behaviour and would override seller intent rather than manage risk.

Maybe I don't understand the issue correctly. I thought the card was bought after it was revealed as an Epic. The seller did not have a chance from its reveal to see it was an Epic and to either delist it, or increase the price based on its revealed rarity.

So it was listed pre-reveal with a risk to either the seller or buyer based on its revealed rarity. However, the card was revealed , the buyer saw it was as epic and bought it at a huge discounted price.

The card was listed at a pre-reveal price, intended to be sold pre-reveal. The system should delist all unsold pre-reveal cards, before they are revealed.

It's not a DOLZ market place issue.

Only the Owner of the Wallet, can create a Sales Contract, and Only the Owner of the Wallet can Revoke the Contract
It is the Security of the Wallet that prevents a 3RD PARTY from taking control of the Wallet.

DOLZ has no Authority to Revoke a contract created by a Private Users Wallet.

It is 100% the Wallet owners Responsibility to revoke the Sales Contract.

Listing Pre-Reveal has its Risk of Sellers Remorse.

What is the Difference if the card Sold Pre-Reveal as intended by the Seller
or It sold After Reveal before the seller could revoke the contract.

NONE.. The NFT sold for the Sellers Asking Price.

That is the Risk of Listing Pre-Reveal.
