I have to say, that is an incredibly poor way to treat members. This should be a basic function, open to everyone, not just those who have purchased alot of content.
I know I shouldn't be, but I'm really angry about this. The whole point of this website is for us to purchase the models that we like and to watch them, how we like. I have paid for my content, this is so insulting.
Way to go Totem, leave us with no ability to use the content we have purchased in the way we should be entitled.
I know alot of you will disagree with this, but it really is very wrong.

You need to reach Platinum (100 cards) level before the clip selector is activated.

You might want to take a breath and read up a little more about how the software works and the rewards system in place :)

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but how are we able to choose a specific clip?
I have to be honest here. The girls and content are absolutely fantastic, but the inability to play a clip that I want is poor beyond belief. In fact it's insulting. Why would members be treated like this?
I take all that back if I'm wrong and I'm missing something.
I have just purchased all of Kiara Lord's cards. I love this girl! I want to play the clips that I choose. There is no list for me to choose. I cannot for the life of me understand why the makers of this site have made it so that I can't just click a file of my choice. To just have the card and basic filters is of little use to me. If I like a particualr clip/scene I should be able to immediately and easily click on that clip again.
I'm so annoyed by this that it has put me off purchasing any more cards.
Such a shame as this site could be one of the best adult sites out there.

Apologies if I've spoken out of term, I'm just totally frustrated.

I didn't have any issue at all when I moved mine to an external drive. Just make sure you leave the VG program itself on your local drive (usually C:) and change the model/show card file location in your advanced settings (right under the "change skin" button).

@Cartref Many thanks for the link to formatting the 4tb drive, I would not have had the faintest idea what to do with it :-)

My main concern is moving my models onto the new drive, I would ***** to lose them all.

Only thing I will say is that formating a 4 TB HDD is different from a 2 TB HDD.

First of all my apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere, every time I put Transfer in the search field, it removes the T and looks for ransfer lol

These models definately like a hard drive, mine is almost full and I am considering purchasing a 4TB, could you just confirm for me is that all I would need to do is move the models folder to the new drive and change the path to the transfered model folder ?

So again no demo of a card on the carosel for a newer card. I'm considering buying it anyways becuase I like the picture on the card.

I generally prefer the VG shows and I'm not a fan of large tattoo but a pretty face with a pretty smile always over comes those objections .. problem is I cant tell if the scenes will live up to the picture on the card?

Should I get it or pass and just wait for the next show and hope I get to preview it on the carosel?

I´m missing the cards where the girls keep on the stockings the whole show. At the latest updates where the girls wear stocking, they take off.
This is for me the only content I´m looking for. Please bring new cards where the girls keep the stockings on.
Hope I´m not alone with this opinion.

@Number6 downloaded again and all is working fine..your interest in applying uniforms spurred me on to same however in @The Emu's recent Complex functions series of tunnels. After much searching for that 'sweet-spot' combination of uniform Complex Functions shader settings, I've settled on some that appear kindest to the type of sampler2D textures i already have. I'll finish documenting the SCNs and making some tribute splashes for @TheEmu and get em up on share 😉.

@TheEmu, thank you is not enough, for this latest from you. I've never been so gob-smacked, so inspired by the sheer beauty, brilliance and intricacies of shader, as I have with your latest offering... Just one question..Is the sequence of display of the 71 complex functions (..beyond the first one) always in the same ordered sequence or can it be made to be random ?

Edit: Initially I had started out with uniform ColourScheme 12 - Texture based colourisation based on polar components (r,theta) because this was producing more interesting larger complex forms in the scene, it was running slower and had less gaudy bright flashing patches, however in the end, I had to revert back to ColourScheme 10 texture based coloring with tile flipping, because the loss of small detail at the outer edges of x and y axes was becoming too noisy & fractured.

deskbabes gone. for me as there are no cards duo - it is clear they do not want my money. Duo cards have something in deskabes, something without which deskbabes does not exist, I have nothing to solo cards, but let there is some balance. example - 2 cards solo "Mrs A" and duo card "Mrs. A Mrs. B" "Mrs. A Mrs. C," "Mrs. A Mrs. D".
For me only matters deskbabes, cards with VirtuaGirl bought along the way - deskbabes is a powerhouse to buy, certainly there are more people what they thought. I greet and sorry for my English.

Over the years I find that I'm particularly attracted to some girls who do not necessarily have the greatest bodies, boobs or butts, and sometimes even in a way that I'd normally wouldn't pick their cards up. So that must mean they have some undefinable sex appeal.

Here's 6 out of 11 girls I've given an overall rating of 9 out of 10 (at the moment) who wouldn't score this high if I only rated their bodily features. Some have steadily climbed up the rating.
Aika May/Ally Style/Baby Nicole/Jenny Appach/Nici/Sendy Silver

These girls obviously spark some sort of magic with me:
Aika May: not a lot up front, nose a bit too big (Anna Tatu's nose is her biggest turn-off for me, only a 6 overall), but her eyes and incredible behind
Ally Style: so intensely playful, she just wants to party and make me want to join
Baby Nicole: oozes softness & cuddlyness, and maybe I have a weakspot for rectangular jawlines
Jenny Appach: nice but not spectacular body, show is a but on the clumsy/shy side but maybe that's what makes her have a special something
Nici: body a bit thin and boobs that look fake enough (usually a turn off for me), but her eyes/face & smile!
Sendy Silver: pretty small girl height-wise (I'm more into tall girls on average), incredibly fake boobs (like a said usually a turn off) but this woman is sooo seductive, and if she turn her back on me I can't help but.. well you know ;-)

Unfortunately it looks like I FUBAR'd the zip file. For a start the scene name shouldn't have the 2 at the end and secondly I have put the wrong shader in there as well.

I think it happened because I downloaded the zip file back down from @Wyldanimal's website and added the files to it before uploading it again. That file contained the old version of the shader and it looks like it wasn't overwritten by the new version when I added the new scene.

Apologies to all for this - I'll put it right and upload the zip file again.

A ***** point, When I came to use it the VGHD software reported an error saying that the uniform fadeMode was not used in the shader. This was because the version of the Tunnel A shader in the zip file was slightly out of date and did not support the fadeMode parameter. This can obviously be fixed by using a newer version of the shader or by simply commenting out the line in the scn file that sets its value. As it was being set to 0 commenting it out would have no effect even with the newer shader as its default value is 0 anyway.

A little psychology... Knowingly or not, Totem have introduced a system that keeps their products in the face of potential consumers. Including 'old' products. One day, you might be browsing thru the carousel and see a girl dancing that, on that given day might stir your loins enough to think, why not? Then you may buy that card.

Our moods change all the time and some of us may even be ***** or high. Then we do silly things like buy things we didn't really want.

To me, it appears that Totem recognise these human failings and capitalise on them.

All I will say more on this is... Fair play!

I agree they are business to sell cards but if I haven't bought that card in years why would I buy it now! It is like cluttering you advertising space attempting to sell Encyclopedia in a strip club! Maybe some people may find use it for it but I really doubt it.

Especially i like that the combination of two shaders allows to vary the scene's pace over time & there are so many uniforms for the Tunnel A shader applied so its great for SCN tweaking. It uses the tunnel based shader developed by @TheEmu and is part based on some of the work done by @EverthangForever on his tunnel scenes. My thanks to them for all the effort they have put in to this.

This one has gone back to an old theme of mine - a spaceship holodeck - but uses the shaders instead of the scrolling space backgrounds.

If you have my previous Fracadelic scenes then unzip this to the same folder. It will uses some of the existing images as well as the new ones I have included. If you don't have the original scenes then unzip the new scene to a folder of your choice. It will still work but there will be fewer images.

Please note that this zip also contains the files I uploaded the other week. If you unzip to the same folder you may get some nag messages about overwriting existing files. You can just say no to this and it won't overwrite any files.

As usual enjoy and feel free to modify/use as you wish.

PS The intro to the scene contains a bit of a homage to a well known science fiction film. The scene title probably gives it away to those who have seen the film. :-)

Edit - Apologies their was an error in the zip file and an old version of @TheEmu's Tunnel shader was included. This throws up an error when trying to run the scene. I have now put the correct version of the shader into the zip file. If you have downloaded the zip file prior to this edit (3:45pm BST 12/06/15) then you need to download the revised version. Extract the files to the same folder as previous and allow it to overwrite the existing files.

Devil Inside I'd be hoping to use with your Experiments with Clouds series for ghosts fogs with tyndal effects

NeighborPixelLessThan I'd be hoping to render with various substances, marble, chrome whatever.

Changing subjects somewhat. Has anyone looked at the NeighborPixelLessThan and Devil Inside shaders that I posted pictures of when I last updated the ShaderToy zip file at TheEmusNest? If so have they had any good ideas of what could be done with them? In both cases I feel that they are useful as the basis for something, but can't think what that would be.

I can see combining NeighborPixelLessThan with a posteriser or similar colour effect to get an animated comic book figure or toon which could then appear in the real world as in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (I always did like Jessica Rabbit) but thats about it.

The Devil Inside is awkward. Unfortunately the quality of the effect is rather dependant on the clip it is being used on - sometimes there are quite distinct rays of light from the girl's eyes and mouth and sometimes from other parts as well, but in other cases the effect is less dramatic. It seems that the shader needs to be tweaked for each clip in order to get the best effects - if nothing else by putting the origin of the light rays behind the center of the girl's head, or at least in the general area that the head tends to be, but to do that automaticaly would need head tracking to be built into the shader.

Thanks what we have is already amazing...., In dealing with shader 'backgrounds' I'll try and express what I was thinking instead of chroma-keying all the black or all the white generated by a shader to be transparent, instead to generate a transparent mask for the model sprite corresponding to the shape for that shader's 'object'. It doesn't matter that the model is reduced in size to appear distant and it wouldn't matter what sequence she was listed in the code..she could remain last.
She would look like she was behind the shader object because she would only appear where the clipsprite was unmasked. So by adressing the appearance of parts of the model rather than playing with the background..as it were. I don't know if its possible to template a dynamic transparent clipsprite mask to fake going behind shader objects...anyhow probably a silly idea 😉

Not 64 switch statements but 64 case labels in a single switch statement. All compilers, not just for GPUs, have this sort of limitation for some feature or other, but limiting a switch to handle a maximum of 64 cases is remarkably low and the situation is made worse by the limitation not really being in the compiler itself, which blithely generates code as if there were no limitation, but in the assembler. If the compile had detected the problem then at least there could have been an easily understood error message. As it happens I was able to find the problem quickly because I have an Nvidea GPU, though I default to using the Intel graphics processor, but if it had been a problem that only affected Radeon GPUs, or if I had a Radeon GPU, then things would have been more difficult to diagnose.

I think I will have a look at the ShaderToy shaders to see which ones produce a standalone object like the twisted torus and maybe tweak them to use a transparent background. If I do then I will change a bunch of them at once and update the web site. But there will be nothing this week.

Ok, so the code is limited to 64 switch statements on NVidia GPUs..its good to know that now. hopefully NVidia will rewrite their shader compiler/assembler software some day to accomodate.

Number6 would have been using exactly the same Complex Functions shader as you. He had no problem because he is using a Radeon GPU and its associated fragment shader compiler and assembler while you are using an NVIDIA GPU and its associated software. Radeon's software obviously handles switch statements better than NVIDIA's.
